As time passes by
I begin to cry
What am I doing?
What have I got myself into?
I’m not sure what to think anymore
I’m slowly falling apart
But it just feels right to be here
I don’t regret it
Yet I won’t forget the stuff I’ve seen
The sounds of gunshots haunt me
Soldiers by Soldiers falling
Knowing their life will end that second
It’s hard to accept
Even worse if its some one you know
Their gone without a trace
Gives a look on your face I can’t explain
This place is making me lose hope
But I must be strong
Every one of us didn’t know what to expect going into all of this
It caught us off guard and has been harsh
But that hasn’t stopped us
No matter what happens
I know someone will remember me
